Organisations

EuropeanIssuers	A pan-European organisation representing the majority of publicly quoted companies in Europe. Includes news briefings on regulatory updates throughout the EU.
Association of British Insurers (ABI)	Financial services trade association, representing the interests of the UK’s insurance industry. Provides publications for both shareholders and issuers.
Association of Private Client Investment Managers & Stockbrokers (APCIMS)	Association of firms who deal in stocks and shares for private investors.
National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF)	UK body providing representation and other services for those involved in designing, operating, advising and investing in pensions and other retirement provision.
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS)	Professional body of accountants. Provides information about governance, auditing, financial reporting and tax, including: Appraising Your Auditors - A guide to the assessment and appointment of auditors

Bank of England	UK central bank, working to ensure monetary and financial stability.
European Commission	Executive branch of the European Union
HM Treasury	The UK’s economics and finance ministry – responsible for forming and implementing financial and economic policy.
HMRC	Responsible for collecting and administering taxes in the UK.
Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR)	Government department covering company law, trade, business growth, employment law, regional economic development and consumer law.

Regulators

United Kingdom Listing Authority (UKLA)	FSA-based competent listing authority. Provides information on the UK's Listing Rules.

FTSE	Creates and manages equity, bond, alternative asset class indices.
