Small and mid-cap quoted companies (also referred to as smaller quoted companies - SQCs) are defined as companies listed on the Main Market outside of the FTSE 350, and those quoted on AIM and PLUS.

Our research shows that small and mid-cap quoted companies contribute significantly to the UK economy, providing approximately:

  • £560 million per annum in Corporation Tax payable
  • £3 billion per annum in Employees' Income Tax
  • £3 billion per annum in Employers' National Insurance Contributions
  • £2 billion per annum in Employees' National Insurance Contributions
